TLDR Bio • He's basically a super soldier of the Space Marine variety. After a ricocheted bullet hit his femoral artery and he was minutes from death, he was injected with a serum derived from Martian DNA that gave him superhuman abilities. Personality-wise, he's no-nonsense on the job and a quite capable leader, has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, and at his core a good heart despite the things he's done and seen (which is proven by the fact he didn't turn into a monster like his commanding officer and others in his squad).
• As for background, his parents were scientists killed in an accident at a Mars dig site when he was a kid. Both he and his sister were present for the accident. It drove his twin sister deeper into the sciences herself while it drove him away from their shared background and into the military. The siblings were estranged until years later when his team was dispatched to the very same facility and he discovers his sister is a researcher there.


Additional Info • Always down for cross canon in general, no matter how unlikely. The film has a very bare-bones background, so it's not difficult for me to fit him into other canons or merge his with another verse. Plus with space travel being a common thing in his verse, that's an easy way to explain away otherwise quirky crossovers.
